MilDef, a global leader in rugged IT solutions, is expanding its team in Stockholm (Rosersberg) and is now looking for dedicated ILS engineers who want to help shape the future of defense systems.

As an ILS engineer with us, you will work to ensure the efficiency and sustainability of future defense systems throughout their lifecycle. This means you will plan, analyze, and optimize everything from maintenance and spare parts to technical information and operational reliability. You will collaborate with various business areas, including project management, systems security, procurement, and engineering departments.

We are looking for both those who have broad experience in all areas of ILS and those who have more specialized knowledge in one or more of the following ILS areas:

Planning and Management

• Be responsible for leading, planning, and executing ILS work on time and according to specifications.

• Improve and develop work methods, approaches, and tools for ILS work.

Analysis and Calculations

• Operational reliability analyses (ARMS)

• Life cycle cost analyses (LCC)

• Failure mode analysis (FMECA):

• Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)

• Maintenance preparation and analyses regarding spare parts needs/optimization.

Technical Information

• Develop technical information

• Ensure that all technical documentation is up to date and complies with relevant standards (e.g., ASD S1000D).

• Create and update maintenance plans and instructions

• Management of supply registers (GOF): Administer and update registers of supplies and spare parts.

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary technical education or equivalent experience and who has a genuine interest in technology and systematic work. You have some experience in ILS work and a good technical understanding, as well as good IT skills and knowledge of the Office suite. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have experience in ILS or related areas, knowledge of ILS standards, or a background in the Armed Forces. As a person, you are analytical, meticulous, and detail-oriented – while also enjoying collaborating and contributing to the team's common goals.

You must be a Swedish citizen as the position is security classified. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English and have a driver's license, as travel in the job is required.
